Links I Like

Happy 2016! I’ve taken the first week of the New Year to do a bit of planning. Although I don’t really believe in making resolutions, I have quite a few goals for 2016 and I look forward to what’s to come. But first, let’s kick it off with the weekly Links I Like.

As the weather nears freezing in Atlanta and throughout the country. The most important thing in fashion is remaining chic while keeping  cozy. These stunning images of  THE COZIEST SHOOTS FROM THE PAGES OF BAZAAR will have you wishing you were bundled up in a winter wonderland.

You already know I’m obsessed with the podcast Serial. If I’m being honest, this season hasn’t captivated me as much of the first season. But I’m no quitter, so I’m going to stick it out! My latest true crime guilty pleasure is Netflix’s Making a Murderer. I’m sure you’ve heard of it, and if not, have you been living under a rock!? Like many, I breezed through the 10 episode documentary but was left with questions, anger and frustration at our legal system.

I was able to quench my thirst for information thanks to this article on what to read after you finish the documentary. It also looks like Investigation Discovery is producing a special which will air later this month and “aims to fill in some of the gaps left by runaway smash Making a Murderer.”

I know I’m late to the show, but I must admit-I’m slowly but surely starting to like podcasts. I saw this list of 10 More Lady Podcasts You Need To Listen To Right Now from Bust, I’ve subscribed to one already and am listening to Women of the Hour with Lena Dunham as I write.

2015 was a great year for Plus Fashion. It seems like the industry is finally noticing that women with fat breasts, butts and everything in between have wallets that are just as fat. The bottom line is always money and curvy women started putting their money where the style is.

Nicolette Mason is a pioneer of Plus Fashion and a friend in my head (in the words of Wendy Williams). She’s that friend that loves pink, has an eye for amazing accessories and always dresses impeccably. Her collaboration with Addition Elle is full of delicate details like sheer and lace. The seven piece dress collection debuts in February, get more details and read an exclusive interview here.
